My name is Jan Price. I am a native Texan and live in Amarillo. I started making soap in 2006. I have been intrigued with handmade soaps and bath products for several years. I love the thought of making my own products and knowing that the ingredients are fresh and natural. One slow day at work I was looking at a craft book that a friend of mine had purchased. After reading the chapter on cold process soap making I thought to myself, “this sounds so cool, I can do this!” As soon as I got off work that day I went shopping for ingredients to make my first soap. My first batch of soap was unscented oatmeal. I was amazed at the process and hooked! I began reading every thing I could on soap making. As a result of my research, which by the way, is on going, I developed a blend of herbal infused vegetable oils that I adopted as my base recipe. My goal is to provide my customers with soap, bath and body products from only pure and natural ingredients.
